We lovingly handcraft each shelf from start to finish using solid wood from local, reputable, lumber suppliers. We take great care in hand selecting each piece of wood for the highest quality possible. Our selection process ensures that each and every shelving unit will have its own unique and stunning details. We never use cheap veneered wood or stain finishes to dress up cheaper wood to try to make it look like something it’s not! The wood you select is the species of wood you will receive.

We sand and finish every shelf by hand, ending the process with a food-safe, water-resistant, non-toxic, no VOC, hybrid mineral oil and hard wax wood finish that will ensure that your piece will remain beautiful for a lifetime (and beyond)!

The Draper Shelf is built to order and features hand-selected and grain-matched woods, making each unit completely unique and one-of-a-kind. Hanging:

The Draper Shelf includes two embedded keyhole hangers on the back of the unit, making installation a snap. It's just as easy as hanging a picture frame or other wall decor. Depending on your measuring skills, installation can be done in less than two minutes and only requires 2 anchor points. The amount of weight the shelves can hold depends on the type of screws/anchoring hardware used and whether or not you can anchor that hardware to a wall stud. If anchored to only drywall (using drywall anchors), the unit can hold 15-20+ pounds (in addition to its own weight). If anchored to a wall stud, the unit could potentially hold 40+ pounds.
